Four Generations of Heinz leadership
The H.G. in our company name came from the initials of our founders – Herman O. Heinz and Golda Heinz, who started the company in 1924 in Vincennes, Indiana. In 1954, Herman O. Heinz incorporated the company and added his sons Raymond and Francis Heinz as partners. In 1964, Herman A. Heinz Sr. purchased his father’s portion of the company and operated it with his brothers Raymond and Francis, and later Charles Selby in 1974. In 2000, the third generation of ownership began with Herman “Tony” A. Heinz Jr. taking leadership over the company followed by his son, Derek A. Heinz, in 2019.
We are known throughout areas in Southern Indiana and Eastern Illinois for expertly installing and maintaining vital HVAC and plumbing systems for healthcare facilities, educational institutions, large manufacturers, restaurants, and other businesses. Under the leadership of Tony and Derek Heinz, we have expanded both our reach and our services. We have partnered with hospitals and schools throughout our service area and expanded our services to ground-up plumbing construction. As a result of their innovative leadership and grit, our business continues to grow.
